What's Your Story
After 5 years at a pharma/device company and earning my masters degree, I switched to the advertising side of the business. Now, 20+ years later, my experience ranges from launches of blockbuster drugs to rare disease treatments, from HCP to consumer to payor. From launching companies and their first and only brand to navigating the complexities of managing franchises or co-promotes. What I like the most is moving from the clinical trials and data into the creation of a brand, with success measured by the lives improved or lengthened, or diseases cured by the medications we promote.
Your Biggest Achievement?
Professionally: developing talent that has continued to grow with the size of the agency. I believe people who are smart, happy, and rewarded create the best work. Personally: being part of a tremendous family and maintaining close friendships for well over 30 years, as I’m sure they have all wanted to kill me at some point.
Likes?
Travel and experiencing different cultures, Italian food specifically my grandmother’s meatballs, NY Giants football, watching Rafael Nadal play tennis, changing seasons (one type of weather is boring), winter skiing/ summer beaching, live music/concerts, group fitness classes or any outdoor exercise, punctuality.
Not-So-Much?
Under-ordering food for a meeting, traffic, airport delays, fantasy football losses, people who walk three or more across on a sidewalk, password changes or software updates at the worst possible time, not trying.
